Prairie Brett C – Limited
A farmhouse Ale, brewed with Cascade and Citra Hops and a touch of Sea Salt.
It was Sünner that brewed the first beer in the modern Kölsch style (though it wasn’t called that then) around 1900. Sünner is a ‘Kölsch’ beer, unique to Köln (Cologne) Germany.
Like Champagne (Appellation Controlee) it is protected by laws, so that only beers brewed in that region can bear the name. It is an Ale with a stylish character derived from lagering. It is clear and pale straw in appearance. The taste is refreshing, gently fruity, slightly sweet with a crisp, dry finish.
J.W. Lees Vintage Harvest Ale 2011
To look at, the beer is slightly darker than JW Lees Bitter and lighter than some previous vintages, with flavours of toffee and sherry. But as with all JW Lees Harvest Ale, these flavours will develop in the bottle as the beer ages. In 1986 Giles Dennis, Head Brewer at the time, invented JW Lees Harvest Ale. Harvest Ale is a vintage barley wine made from the first hops of the year and the very finest British malt.
BFM √225 Saison
This beer is brewed from a single malt saison, an aromatic hop and then aged in oak barrel of St Bon-Chien with the same but younger and very bitter beer. An ideal beer to start in the world of acid beers and wild yeast! This Belgian beer has a magnificent orange color, topped by a creamy off-white head. In the nose, that beer is very expressive, releasing brett and citrus fruits flagrance, but also spicy aromas. In the mouth, there is a light acid attack, followed by citrus fruits and brett flavours. Final is hoppy and fruity.
Against The Grain Citra Ass Down – Cans
This is a very hop forward American style IPA. Brewed with Pale, Vienna, Munich and wheat malt for a solid base for all American hops, focusing mainly on the variety “Citra.” Citra hops are a relatively new variety introduced in 2008. It was bred as a hybrid of a number of different hops, including Hallertauer Mittelfrüh, U.S. Tettnanger, East Kent Golding, Bavarian, Brewers Gold, and other unknown hops. The resulting hop, Citra, has a distinct citrusy and tropical fruit flavor and aroma. In Citra ass down we used American Columbus for bittering and 11# of Citra at the end of the boil for late kettle addition flavor and aroma. Then we added 6 more pounds Citra and 5# Centennial post fermention for aroma. Rebrewed for your tasting pleasure!
Deschutes Pine Drops IPA
This lively IPA delivers a crisp and light malt body with ample citrus and pine notes from Chinook and Equinox hops. Inspired by the aromas and silence we experience when exploring the scenic pine forests just up the road from our brewhouse.
Abita Lemon Harvest Wheat
Lemon Wheat is a crisp, refreshing beer made with lemon peel for a fresh citrus taste and aroma. This unfiltered brew has a hazy, golden color and is made with lager and wheat malts, Centennial hops and Biere de Garde yeast. This brew is an excellent choice with many dishes. It pairs wonderfully with salads if the dressing is not too sweet. Great with shrimp, lobster or any fish, even the most delicate.
German style Hefe Weizen with banana, clove, and vanilla like flavors with a touch of toasty wheat malt and hops.
Evil Twin Bikini Beer
Named after atom bomb test grounds, designed by a French car engineer – the bikini was to many a disturbing and degrading creation but fortunately for others a symbol of emancipation. This is attractively light bodied, seductively well balanced and very drinkable Bikini Beer is anything but a sissy beer.
Evil Twin Hipster
Perhaps you heard of a worldwide beer-movement that tributes favorite hipster neighbourhoods across the globe. If you feel excluded because you’re hip but your city is not, this cutting-edge, ‘hip without border’ pale ale is an homage to you – the global hipster. Cheers!
