4 Hands / Bale Breaker / Stone Collaboration Sorry Not Sorry is Here – Limited
We make no apologies for the fact that we love brewing bold, flavorful, hop-centric beers. Naturally, we welcomed the opportunity to work with two amazing craft breweries that share our lupulin-fueled dedication: St. Louis-based 4 Hands Brewing Co., known for its innovative IPAs; and Bale Breaker Brewing Co., whose owners’ family has farmed hops in Washington’s Yakima Valley for generations. Since theirs was the first hop farm to commercially grow the beloved Simcoe variety, using that piney, stone fruit-like hop was a must. Puréed peaches upped the fruit factor, while experimental hops HBC 342 and HBC 344 introduced notes of stone fruit, tropical fruit, berries and citrus to this IPA. Yes, we made another IPA. We concede it’s not surprising, but we are who we are: an unapologetic band of hopheads psyched to explore the ever-expanding IPA universe.
Excel 3rd Anniversary Saison – Red Wine Barrel Aged – EXTREMELY Limited
Excel Black Breath – Imperial Stout aged in Rum Barrels – EXTREMELY Limited
Left Hand Bittersweet – Imperial Coffee Milk Stout
This big stout gets aggressive with a boost from Allegro Coffee’s exotic mocha java blend. The coffee’s dark cherry flavors and spicy undertones weave into the rich milky sweet stout like a chocolate-covered espresso bean melting on your tongue. Bitter then sweet. Sweet then bitter. It’s bittersweet.
Odell Friek – Cherry / Raspberry ale aged in oak barrels
Created by combining framboises (raspberries) with kriek lambic style ales. We took ales fermented with wild yeast and tart cherries and moved them into oak barrels to age and sour—taking on the cherry flavors. Then, immediately prior to the final blending, our brewers throw in handpicked framboises from Schroyer Family Farms in Fort Collins. Making for sweet and tart flavors that mingle on the tongue with a sparkling dry finish.
Prairie BOMB! – UNLIMITED!
Bomb! is an imperial stout aged on espresso beans, chocolate, vanilla beans, and ancho chile peppers. All the flavors meld to create a truly unique beer. The peppers add just the right amount of heat to complement the intense coffee and chocolate flavors.
Prairie Christmas Bomb!
This beer is the amazing base beer we all know and love with the addition of Christmas spices. With the weather starting to cool off and the leaves changing colors, I can’t think of a better beer for the season.
