Mack or Mackie, never Adam.
Where are you from?
West Covehead, Prince Edward Island, Canada.
What do you do at Craft Beer Cellar?
I am a certified beer geek helping customers finding new, exciting brews or an old classic/friend.
What you do in addition to being a CBC Beer Geek:
I teach sixth grade science. Beer and science: a perfect match.
The Beer That Started It All:
When I was drinking at home in Canada, I drank darker beer, like Sleeman’s Honey Brown, but when I moved to America the beer that changed everything for me was Gulden Draak. I had no idea that beer could taste like Gulden Draak because PEI is littered with dosmestic/regional macros – I was so intrigued I wanted to try more – I was definitely hooked.
The best thing about working at CBC is:
Striking up conversations with customers about beer and helping them find new and exciting products.
When I’m not at CBC, you’re likely to find me:
Running in Cambridge or Watertown, enjoying a pint at Cambridge Brewing Company with friends and family, and possibly developing my next hombrew recipe.
A fun fact most people don’t know about me is:
I won home run derby at Peewee Baseball Nationals and played college hockey at Bowdoin.
